The 56th Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition 2017
This year's TOAE has come and gone and, once again, the event brought together artists, art lovers and patrons. Despite storm warnings and the occasional ominously dark sky, the rain held off (for the most part) and sun shone for most of the weekend.
The Judges for the first 'Eyes Of Society - Social Commentary Award', were scattered across the country. April White, Gwaai and Jaalen Edenshaw were in Haida Gwaii (100km off Canada's Pacific coast). Sophie Lavoie was in Winnipeg, Gary Landon, Robert Landon, Anja Karisik and W. David Ward, were here in Toronto; Andrew Sookrah, was boarding a boat to return from Sable Island (175 km off the coast of Nova Scotia, in the North Atlantic).
